Kuala Lumpur, 31st December 2015 – Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) would like to ensure its passengers that there are several smart saving options when they take the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit. KLIA Ekspres passengers will automatically save RM10 when purchasing a Return Ticket between KL Sentral and KLIA/KLIA2 at the ticket counter. The fare will only be RM100 instead of the full fare amount which is RM110.
However, passengers are encouraged to purchase their tickets online where they can save even more. A 10% discount will be given for Single or Return Tickets purchased through KLIA Ekspres website, mobile app and at the self-service kiosk. The price for a Return Ticket will now drop further to RM90 from RM100 which means only RM45 for a one-way trip.
Under a new promotion, MasterCard credit and debit cardholders will enjoy the most savings at 20% off when purchasing KLIA Ekspres Single or Return tickets through its website, mobile app and the kiosk. With this offer, a Return Ticket between KL Sentral and KLIA/KLIA2 is only RM80, or just RM40 per trip.
Passengers are entitled to 20% cash back when they use AmBank, AmBank Islamic or MBF credit cards when buying KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit tickets at full fare from the ticket counter, online or the kiosk. The 20% cash back is also available for UOB Visa Preferred Platinum/PRVI Miles credit cardholders when buying KLIA Ekspres tickets from the ticket counter, online or the kiosk.
Meanwhile, daily commuters on the KLIA Transit will enjoy huge savings of between 17% and 83% when using the KLIA Transit Monthly or Weekly TravelCards. Please refer to the table below for the KLIA Transit TravelCard fares.
KLIA Transit passengers can also get a 10% discount when purchasing Single and Return tickets at the kiosk.
For Malaysian senior citizens, KADS1M and OKU cardholders, they are entitled to a 30% off Single Ticket fare for travel on KLIA Transit. Tickets can be bought at the counter with proof of ID.
Those using the Touch ‘n Go card will enjoy a 10% instant discount at the gate on both KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit services during the promotion period.

Express Rail Link (ERL) is the operator of KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit train services that connect Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA & KLIA2) and the city. The non-stop journey on KLIA Ekspres between KL Sentral and KLIA takes only 28 minutes. Passengers can continue their journey to KLIA2 which only takes 3minutes.
